I need a distributor for my 1975 1.8

Bosch 0 231 176 048 / VW-Porsche 021 905 205 AB .... vacuum canister, no trigger points.

009 was for a 74..1.8

The distributor in the picture above came off the trash barrel. The dreaded "009" isn't appropriate here, with its 17 degrees of advance and required 10 degrees BTDC setting at idle. You need a double vacuum distributor in order to make the engine idle at 900 RPM and still achieve full advance for optimum performance. Funny, when looking up the number on Google, I found new "009s" for as little as 50 bucks and as much as $245, USED!
