914World.com _ FS/WTB: 914 Parts _ FS: Porsche 901 911 914 7:27 Sportsmatic Ring and Pinion Gear Set

I was going to use this ring and pinion in my 914/4 transmission rebuild but I have decided that I will use the stock 914 gearing. The pinion shaft will need to be milled in length to fit. CMS in California (http://www.californiamotorsports.net) has the ability to mill the pinion to the proper length.

Asking $400.00 plus shipping (CONUS)

Thanks for looking!

The pinion shaft is longer than the standard 7:31 901/914 pinion shaft. To make this pinion work in a standard 901/914 trans case, the length needs to be shortened and the end remilled. I'm not an expert so this is the "simple" explanation.
