914World.com _ FS/WTB: 914 Parts _ FS: NOS OEM 75-76 drivers quarter panel $1000

Posted by: JRust Jul 28 2014, 11:06 AM

Okay I picked up this NOS OEM rear quarter panel with a 914 I bought this weekend. I have the receipt from Sunset Porsche in Beaverton for $1072 in 2005. I tried to find this for sale anywhere & I couldn't track one down. Theoretically it is worth more money now than when he bought it 9 years ago. I really don't care. I just know I don't need it. So if there is anyone out there who does. Here is a deal for you. While it's not impossible you could find one cheaper. The odds are seriously not in your favor. So buy it quick evilgrin.gif

$1000 plus shipping & remember this is for a 1975 or 1976 914. It has the extra tab in the rear for the big fugly bumpers.

icon_bump.gif I know this is a piece that may sit for years until just the right person needs it. Obviously it's easy enough to cut a used one off a car. I'm open to offers but may just be sitting on this part

I could use that, think the tab coud be modifiied for use on my 73?
Also, could you let me know how much to ship to 61801?

Thanks,

Jack

Nice score. Though they are a bit tougher to find, the driver's side rear quarters are out there NOS. I came across 4 of them while looking for the apparently impossible to find passenger side rear quarter. However, the 4 I found were all early panels, not the later one JRust has. GLWTS.

The small tab for the '75/'76 bumpers is easily removed with no damage.
If it was necessary to use an early quarter on a later car the tab could easily be fabricated and attached.

I'll drop the price to $800 through the new years weekend. Ive got a motor I'm buying I'd rather not use a CC to buy. Price will go back to $1000 next week

I have a Sale pending on this. Sorry Nicholas that quote was from UPS. Have to kind of guess on size & weight. This is just to bulky & I don't feel comfortable shipping it overseas. I would end up building a nice solid wooden box to protect it. Which would only make it cost more to ship. Just doesn't make sense. sad.gif

I've got a local guy committed to buy & going to sell it to him. I appreciate the interest from everyone smile.gif
