I need to replace a front suspension pan plus part of the front floor and steering tunnel area on one of my cars. I would like to borrow a rotisserie so the gentleman doing the repairs doesn't have to do all the work on his back.
Prefer a local rotisserie that is currently unemployed, hibernating, etc.
I can pick up anywhere in the So Cal or Central Cal area

Are you sure you want a rotisserie? Sounds kind of dangerous to me, I...I say.

Give me a buzz at your convenience

Hello
I've done a few 911 gas tank pans in the past.
Depending on the extent of the rust in the front I would be careful about using a rotisserie.
The replacement parts are virtually self-aligning .... except if the chassis is supported so far forward.
If rotated 90 degrees problems can arise.
Good luck, it is a very important and gratifying job.

The complete front suspension will need to be removed to effect repairs to the steering rack tunnel and parts of the forward floor pans. The gas tank pan needs some 'patching' too, but not total replacement. The rotisserie should make the floor pan repairs much more enjoyable
Once the tunnel repairs are done, I may hang the front of the car off of the 4-post lift, resting on the front floor pan seams to repair the gas tank pan - I'll have to play it by ear.
