I already posted this on pelican too, but:

If you have a pre-'72 thermostat, or the 'rebuild kit' for external one,
near enough to boston area I can drive to pick up, would be interested.
Another part is seemingly lost in shipping and I'm in urgent need of car
to be working by saturday night. (would buy or borrow temporarily)
