914World.com _ FS/WTB: 914 Parts _ FS: Speed Sensor

Posted by: Amenson Dec 8 2014, 09:04 PM

If you happen to follow my build thread you saw the development of this part:

http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?s=&showtopic=58431&view=findpost&p=1277723

I ran it all summer with zero problems. Now that I am updating to a suby 5mt I no longer need this part.

I am including a new vehicle side Deutsch weather proof connector and pins.

You probably need this and don't even know it!

Does this provide speed sensor in place of the mechanical speedo or in addition to?

In my car it is driving the electronic Subaru instrument cluster. It can drive basically any digital speedometer. I would say any electronic speedometer but there are probably some bizzare analog gauges out there.
