I have had 1945 for nigh 10 years.
It came to me without engine or tranny (or rear brakes, for that matter...but Eric took care of that )
Would love to find the original engine....
How would I learn of correct number...and would anyone happen to have it stashed awya
Get a COA from PCNA they usually have the engine number.
All their other info is just for entertainment.
Contact Larry Lee on this site.
" Glenn Stazak (GMS) on this site.
There is a thread here of orphan ( 6 ) engines too.
I'm too old to lead you there.
OK.... go to "Originality and History", the first thread title is 914 6 engines..... "out of car"
Also, contact "dug" on that thread.
Good luck
