these wheels are perfect for a stock body 914. they are 1 inch wider than a 4-lug fuchs. they fill the wheel well a little better

Any pictures of those mounted on your car?

Need $1000 worth of CNC machining work for trade? hahaha

I know you said you are keeping the tires, but what size are they? I think I see a 205, yet cannot read anything after that.

thanks

I've got the exact same wheel on my car (Minilite 6.5x15) with Yokohama S Drive 205/55x15 tires.

They fit great with no issues of the tires rubbing either in the front or rear of the car.

The 55's are nice height....not too low of a profile.

Do you still do rust repair and chassis stiffening kit installs?

By the way, what does a minilite weigh? (since you mentioned "super" light)

For what it's worth, I posted the following information back in July 2012.

"Just got back from the post office. I used their scale to weigh, to the ounce, several common 914 wheels. All of these weights are for clean, bare wheels with no wheel weights, no valve stems or lug bolts. I am preparing a set of autocross wheels and a set of track wheels and want to start with the lightest, commonly available wheel possible. Thought that others might be able to use this info so here it is.

All wheels are 4X130 bolt pattern. The Minilite wheel is 6.5" X 15". The rest of the wheels are 5.5" X 15". Weights are from lightest to heaviest.

Mahle - 13 lbs. 4 oz.
Fuchs - 13 lbs. 15 oz.
914 Steel "Sport" wheel - 17 lbs. 0 oz.
914 Steel "Beetle" wheel - 17 lbs. 1 oz.
Minilite - 17 lbs. 15 oz."

centercaps included? If not, what cap fits?

Posted by: B2524 Apr 10 2015, 07:25 PM

Hey Sean,
When can I bring my car down to get the stiffening kits installed?
KD

Btw I have a correct cap for these wheels......
