I cleaned up the trans and found this gasket was missing. Anybody have a broken gasket set they will sell me one.

Side shifter uses an O-ring at the base of the part that goes in to the trans. Paper gasket is for the plate that covers that hole on tail shifters.

Added picture of where gasket goes. It is in overhaul kit.

I have one for sure but like someone stated there's no gasket there just an o-ring.
If you still want the gasket let me know.

My race builder uses a gasket maker instead of the oringinal for that one. Loc-tite brand? I would have to double check.

Just an option

I've just taken apart a bunch of 914 transaxles.
The side shift ones all had an o-ring - no gasket

The early tail shift and 901 transaxles had a shift rod guide instead and they used a gasket originally, but most I took apart had copious amounts of rtv sealant on them instead from previous owners - so the gasket didn't really work that well smile.gif

I'd use the o-ring.
