Here's the story. Seller bought parts to rebuild his original 2.0 to a 2056. Had heads cleaned, valve guides replaced, new p&c, ect. Ran engine for 20 minutes, had no pressure, tore down engine and noticed he screwed up rings. Bought another new set of p&c, had them balanced, bought lots more new parts but never reassembled engine. He also included first set of p&c's to show the assembly mistake.
I'd like to sell all the parts to build it back up. Engine, alternator, flywheel, bearings, oil pump, fan, tin, all the FI parts, ect.
I figure rebuildable core 2.0 long block probable gets $1k. Seller said all fuel injection parts tested good, machine work on heads and balancing moving parts, many new parts, ect. The engine case, heads, crank, ect are from an 80k mile '73. Sale price $2k
The only downside I can see is the cam is for hydraulic lifters. If you don't want the cam, I'll knock off $100. This is not a Raby engine kit or similar but is is a complete engine, in pieces that is ready to be built. Sold as is. Email mark@markepstein.net for questions or to purchase. Location is zip 19350
Thanks, Mark
