I have a 1975 914/4 that needs a front torsion bar for the passenger side.

Stock bar was only 17 mm.

Stock bar was only 15mm.

Stock is fine. I'll take one for stock since only the passenger side is needed but would be willing to buy the pair of a different size. The car is now on the side lines and is my daily driver so any help is appreciated, thanks.

Stock torsion bars are plentiful here. Someone will have one here that they will probably give you save for the cost of shipping. I may still have a set myself, I'll check.

I have a good right torsion bar. $20 plus cost of shipping from 92505 CA.
I could have it shipped Monday.
If you are interested PM your address for a shipping price.

If you do find one locally make sure if does not have wear marks. Most of the ones I have pulled are not usable do to heavy wear marks that are caused by distorted rubber bushing that allow the bar to rub on the inside of the A arm.

In the time it took to find and clean it, I was thinking I better hurry or BD will have it boxed and shipped. Looks like He replied as I want looking for it. biggrin.gif

I first thought the stock torsion bar for a 1975 914/4 was 21mm. I was told it was 15mm, 17mm, and now 18mm on this thread. I believe it is 17mm, no?
