914World.com _ FS/WTB: 914 Parts _ WTB cable between thermostate coil and shroud flaps

Posted by: Jett Oct 16 2015, 09:30 AM

Sorry for the poor description... We are rebuilding our 2.0/4 and the cable (and nut) between the thermostate coil and flaps is well rusted sad.gif

Anyone have this piece or knows where it can be purchased?

Thanks!

I thought there was a post a few days ago about a guy who was making these new and sold all the parts for them.

Right, you wanna make sure if your bellow is still operable. If the accordion is contracted at normal air temp it is usable, if it's expanded again at normal air temp it's a trash.

Home Depot and Lowes typically carry bulk cable too.
