I count 6 different repop pieces.
The motor mount isnt reproduced yet.

I've called RD before I posted this ad and we spoke about this part. The problem is that when you buy the replacement panel it's missing the outer shell which is not in production. I would need to fab that part myself or outsource it. I do not need the 4 cyl mount as this is going in to my factory 6.

I did get a few leads that I'll be checking into.

I thought I saw it on eBay for a touch under $3k. I searched - Porsche 914 nos

I've checked ebay nothing there. I have a few messages and calls out.
I'll see what that brings.

Thanks,

IIRC the "outer shell" is called the inner rocker panel. RD makes it. Part number P301R for the passenger side.

Never mind I see that you need the piece in the engine compartment.

Luke is right. The RD piece isn't an exact replacement for the factory piece.
The factory piece is two layers. The corrugated portion is on the inside.
Outside is smooth.

The RD piece is 16 gauge I believe. With the portion inside the engine compartment corrugated.

That's the problem that I'm having and why I'm looking for a factory part. It's going in my 914-6 and if possible I would like to use a factory part for the repair.
I did order the RD part and it should be here any day now. I'm going to see how it all fits first. I did call Stoddard but they only have the drivers side with the pass side being NLA. I called a few other places but no one has it in the US. Also checked stock in Germany, nothing. Someone out there may have it stashed away but good luck finding it. I'm sure one will turn up after I get it fixed and no longer need it. So for now it's plan B and see how that works.

I hope you find one. In fact, I hope you find two. I need that exact piece also. I found the driver's side piece earlier this year. But I haven't found the passenger one.

Luke, how far into the long do you need to go?

Here's the RD piece after mounts are installed. The biggest issue I see with skinning the RD piece is getting water trapped behind it.

I did install a gusset cover down by the firewall. But I left the top and bottom open for drainage.

I would need to go all the way forward as the inner long is rough. I figured just replace it all vs piece meal. So from the rear engine/truck wall forward to the inner fender. Just like the picture shows. I believe that's the only way the factory sold it.
I did find someone with one of these but it's not for sale.
I did get the RD parts so looks like I'm going that route.

Is this for a 4 or 6? Your best bet may be a salvage piece, but I'd expect to pay up to $1000 for a nice one.

Hi Perry,

Yes, it's for my factory 6 (2384) . I would like a nos piece but if I come across a nice used section I would buy that too. It would have to be a real nice long section though.
