Did you buy them all?

Posted by: colingreene Apr 29 2016, 09:26 PM

No, but other people did. what are you getting at?

Just wondering what you are trying to add to my for sale ad?

Posted by: bdstone914 Apr 30 2016, 07:43 AM

I think the price is fair. Buying an oil cooler at a swap meet from an unknown seller with a cooler in unknown condition is a roll of the dice.
Buying a cleaned and tested oil cooler from a known seller is hard to compare.
For what it is worth I got one a couple of years ago for $50 at the end of a swap meet. Need to spend the $$ to get it cleaned and tested. Maybe I will get lucky, maybe I won't.

I was adding that I feek your price was high.
Obviously subtlety is not your thing.

My price is actually low. Can you find one for $200 or less on pelican, earlysreg or the Porsche dealer.
Comparing to a swap meet price isn't the market price.
A swap meet oil cooler probably wasn't pressure tested, can't be returned if it leaked, is in the past and probably can't be duplicated today.

Oh yea, not every one lives in Southern California within driving distance of the swap meet.

Nope, not subtle. biggrin.gif
