Just a question to better understand...what's the difference between this trans and a 901 side shifter?
70 and 71 911 901 is a 225mm pull type clutch versus the 215mm 914 push type clutch. This particular pull type clutch was only used 70-71 with the 2.2 six motors.
Because it was only available for two years the parts are quite expensive. Starting in 72 with the 2.4 six the 911 changed to a 915 gear box with a 225mm pull type clutch.
