My cap doesn't seal tight. If I have a half a tank of gas or more it slushes around and comes up through the cap....then sits in that collar and smells.
When I look at the cap. the diaphram inside is sliding around. i guess there's a spring in there and it's lost its tension.
I only see one replica metal one on ebay from AA . the early Ghia or Bug caps look right but I bought one before and it didn't fit.
i need a tight new cap..prefer a metal cap but plastic is OK if it does the job
Gary, good evening I have several at CAMP 914. I will check in the morning and get back to you.

Gary, good morning. These are the four that I found at CAMP. I can send the one that I feel will seal the best and if it works for you, you can purchase.
