914World.com _ FS/WTB: 914 Parts _ WTB: rear outside brake pad clearance adjuster screw

Posted by: mobymutt Sep 23 2016, 08:09 AM

Looking for a rear outside brake pad clearance adjuster screw (the one with the little snap ring). Mine is cracked at the head, and I can't get the allen wrench to engage.

Please let know if you can help! Thanks in advance.

Hi , I do have that but how do you take this off the caliper, it seems to be
attached from the inside of the piston housing ?

Yeah, you have to push it through inside the caliper, once it's been split.

Probably not worth your time, or worth taking parts off a caliper that could be rebuilt. But I appreciate you wanting to help!

Some of the internal parts are different between early an late calipers. This may be one of them.
