Trying to get the 2056 together before I miss fall. I need the 2 small screws that hold the cooling tin to the bottom of the heads. I would prefer new because they all look terrible after a while. Do you have this or can tell me how to source this. I called AA and talked to George and his shipping guys are sending me 20 cheese head screws. I will find use for this but not what I need. Wanted to work this weekend. Any help appreciated!

Can't help you for the weekend, but in the future you might want to go this route as cheese head replacements - stainless, allen head screws:

Doesn't hurt to use some never seize or some copper paste. Your next engine tin removal will thank you.

If you can't find it at your local hardware store, that's a good reason to not use it. Seriously... they'll have what you need to get it done right. Unless you are really serious about keeping it perfectly concourse inspection weenie approved.

It is a 5mm screw. only one that size on the engine. Not that hard to find.

Def anti-seize the engine tin screws. I have just been down this road (2056 build) and I am using the button top allen heads in SS from CB. I also have the allen heads in SS from 914Rubber. Both are good but I prefer the look of the button tops, both are better than the OE fasteners.

You can get the ss Allen screws at local hardware store but definitely much cheaper in bulk. Toss the cheese heads in the trash unless you are going for concours originality.

You may be able to find at the hardware store, but for 50 pcs with washers for $20, you'd probably be at a wash at best, and I'd but I have a few other odds and ends you may need.

That's why I stock them, I don't make much on them, but makes it easier if you're looking for any other odds and ends. Might I also recommend some of the shift bushings, they are inexpensive and weight almost nothing.
