Frank - Send an email to Dennis at dkirk15@cox.net. He lives in Phx and has one that he wants to sell. He's a world member but rarely visits the site.

Not a fan either. I have sold them for $50-$75.

Had a friend with one and he would strap his surfboard to it side ways so it looked like a big wing.

I have never understood how the flimsy and flexible skin of a 914 rear trunk lid can take the stress of mounting a rack and the weight of the luggage added to it. How are these things mounted to handle the load? Just curious.

I would definitely rock a luggage rack on a second rear deck lid for travel.
Just pop rear lid on and off! Now that I have no front trunk.
