JE Pistons and AA Cylinders for 2.2/2.4 L Porsche six cylinder – Ok, here’s the story. New engine build with nice set of used JE Pistons and Cyls. 1st track day, 2 cylinders running lean. Engine retired. Very high compression profile 85M set. 4 pistons and cylinders seem to be fine. Ordered a new set of 83M JE pistons for engine rebuild. Next track event, same thing happens. Don’t know where the 4 good Biral cylinders are now (somewhere in the garage), but have the 4 good pistons. One is without a wristpin, probably with the cylinders I can’t find. To complete either set, pistons are available from JE. $300 for everything plus shipping..
