914World.com _ FS/WTB: 914 Parts _ FS: Sachs Heavy Duty Clutch - SOLD

Posted by: sgetsiv Oct 31 2017, 06:34 PM

I am selling a Sachs heavy duty clutch kit - I used this in my Raby 2315 motor for about 800 miles. It's a race clutch and requires too much pressure IMHO for street use. I switched it out at Original Customs when we rebuilt my transmission.

No idea if it is even worth anything to anyone out there. $100? plus shipping.

Thank you,

Steve

I'm interested, but am concerned at the same time. Typically Sachs pressure plates don't have a "heavy feel" to them unless something is wrong. This is more or less the standard "heavy duty" pressure plate that goes in 90% of the cars out there. The only difference is the 6 puck, non sprung clutch disk.

How does the new one feel? Just trying to gauge if the pressure plate is bad before I commit to making the purchase.

I replaced it with a standard Sachs clutch and it feels great - I should say it felt great until I sold the car a few weeks ago.

Second in line behind yeahmag...I will take it, if he doesn't.

Thanks
