914World.com _ FS/WTB: 914 Parts _ Anyone need a New 914 Windshield to Seattle Area 1/2 off Freight Charge

Posted by: ProSource Glass Feb 25 2018, 02:38 PM

We have a windshield going to Seattle area in the next week or 2 if someone wants to split freight costs. The Clear are $300 the tint are $315. These are Sekurit. Usually we charge $185 freight + $25 crate fee. But we can combine and save you on freight , just charge $95 additional to get it to a business address in area. Obviously 2 more folks in on shipment will save even more.

Depending how far away they maybe able to keep it there a week or 2 for you to make the trip to pick up. It is a big savings for you compared to shipping to BC from here..

yes. They are about $515USD here, so trying to decide if it makes sense. Probably too far to travel for $100, but will let you know. Do you know when you will be shipping?

I am assuming those are Chinese brand? or are you able to get a Sekurit brand glass for that money?
I am expecting we will ship in a week or maybe 2 depending. We deal in BC direct with the Speedy Glass wholesale division but they will mark it up a lot I am sure.

That was from the Porsche dealer, so I assumed that would be a good quality. I will have to check.

Are you going thru Iowa, I live in Cedar Rapids and could use 1or 2 windscreens. let me know, David. welcome.png

Can you be more specific on the freight terminal location? Auburn, Kent, etc. Seattle "area" could be Everett to Tacoma and Puget Sound to the cascades. Maybe delivery to a residence and folks confirm a pick up?

We are not driving thru, this is a freight carrier that will take it. The freight is $170 Cedar Rapids whether we send 1, 2 or a few. Perhaps someone in the area wants to split? Or I can send right direct. That is based on commercial delivery or freight terminal to avoid residential delivery.

At this point pretty sure it will be shipping to a business in Seattle unless you have your own business address right near Seattle. The Porsche 911 customer is in Seattle from what I believe...
