I bought this set of red and amber LED bulbs for the front and rear turn signal, brake, and driving lights. I discovered some installation of resistors etc. is required to make them work. This is "above my pay grade of skills" 
I paid about $50 for them - yours for $25 plus shipping from S. Cal.

They also have for early model 914's. all you need to do is swap the the flasher relay and your all set. drop the fuse panel under the dash, swap the resistor and screw the fuse panel back in. A 10 minute job. You can do it
