They do look like GSXR 1000 throt bods. Out of interest: any chance you could slap a ruler across the top - what is the spacing of the centers? Always wondered about how easy these would be to adapt to early 911 engines,

I used GSX-R 750 (40mm) throttle bodies in a 911 build a few years ago. 42mm would be GSX-R 1000.

80mm center to center, however these come apart so that spacing can be made bigger or smaller.

Those are 2000 gsxr 750 throttle bodies. The remote secondary throttle valve controller is the giveaway. The 2001 gsxr 1000 and 750 use the same updated version with a direct control stepper motor. They both are 42mm. The 600 was 38mm. I have sets of both 750 and 600 sitting in a box.
These seem like the easiest to use because they are 4 individual setups. Whereas newer ones are mostly cast in pairs so the spacing is no longer adjustable. This is a pretty good price for these.

I had to google that secondary throttle box, had no idea what the heck it was!

Thanks for that - looks as though they could be persuaded to work on an early 911 case - GLWTS
