914World.com _ FS/WTB: 914 Parts _ 914-6 Oil tank welders delight deal.

Posted by: mb911 Dec 27 2018, 04:04 PM

I have a large qty of oil tanks decided for those folks looking to save some money by not having me weld them I am offering up kits once again. $225 per kit shipped in the lower 48.. It is pretty self explanatory on how to put them together and weld them.. This is without the 22mm fittings. You can weld what ever fittings you want on.. If you need my fittings add another $40..

Keep in mind this is for the weekend warrior that can TIG weld aluminum and wants to save allot of money. I also am not willing to sit on the phone for hours on end to walk you through building the tank at this price.. It is a time is money thing.. I hope you all understand. Attached Image

Neat option Ben

it is a good option, but the quality of Ben's welding is definitely worth the assembled price.

The assembled price includes many hours of welding, checks, fitting, finish welding and then pressure checking.

I just follow the FAA manual for testing fuel tanks so @3psi is all that's required.
