I've never seen one of those.. and you just roll it on the frame with the car in side the loops? bolted in of course

how do bolt it to the car??

Mounts to transmission mounts and the front traverse bar. Front suspension has to come off.

the horizontal bars stabilize the loops.. definitely economical

My garage isn't large enough to roll it over.. but that's is a good idea you have there. Dang it, how wide are the loops?? but being able to roll it around..

Check out the RD site... Same as above and it's already made.

We have a Gregg Smith equipment within 10 miles so we just drop by with a pickup truck. They aren’t as well made as a custom unit but more than serviceable. Our guy could make them but then he wouldn’t be working on cars.

Not sure what your budget is, but a brand new one is *only around $1k shipped to your door (northern tool).
I paid about $1200 a few years ago for this one with the adapter kit included:

Never had a 914 on it yet, but have had 3 911s so far.

Not hard to build, and steel cost is not that much. Mine is a bit overkill and can be found http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=220712&st=20#.
