I think your price is great. It's just a matter of finding someone that wants them. You could put them on the samba and ebay to increase your chances.

Id be a buyer at 650 if it was local pickup ,but its not.

I mean consider your market ,914 not 911 guys
No wine and cheese here .

Cheap sob here

I would think the 6-7 range would be good value

$800 is as low as I can go. These tires are new. The wheels are mint, little dirty in the pic's

The tires do have value too i guess but 50 miles is not new WTF.gif
0 miles is new , 50 miles are used (barely) but still used tires . Lets be real and the 205 size maybe unattractive to buyers who run 195s

But at
800

You'll be waiting around for a while

Agree that the tires aren’t new and wheels aren’t mint although they look freshly painted (‘mint’ means that they look brand new with no wear marks whatsoever).
That said, IMHO $800 is a fair price for wheels in this condition (very good) with barely used tires.

agree.gif Wheel prices are going UP and quickly. I can't even find a set of 15x6 cookie cutters at a reasonable price any more dry.gif . If local this is a very good deal.

I think your price is getting in the ballpark. There’s no set price for anything. Just how much the seller wants to sell and the buyer is willing to pay. Sometimes that changes with time or circumstances.

Thanks for the input.

I think it is a nice set and fairly priced. Maybe two caveats.

It probably needs to be a local buyer. Check the cost to ship 4 wheels and tires. That's what a distant buyer will be doing and then adding that to your price. That may make it too expensive for most in the market.

Also, someone would have to be looking for THAT combination of wheels and tires. The size of the tires and the aggressive tread pattern may be a turn off to some that would otherwise like the wheels, and the stock wheels may be a turn off to someone looking for those size/tread tires.

Anyway, good luck with the sale.

I agree. The combo may not be right for some, but I personally really like the aggressive tires with Mahles. Not to mention, Mahles are a great lightweight option wheel and yours look fantastic. On a side note, I love the stance of your 914. How'd you get the front so low?

FYI

Each wheel weighs 23lbs.

Craigers17,

The rear end was that low when I bought it, so I just made adjustments to the front to even it out.

The tires would be a great option for an "old skool" bug.

I do realize someone has to love these rims to buy them. I may just keep them changing the tires to 195/50 with Toyo Proxes R1R's

Is that the wheel/tire combo? Sounds heavy for just a Mahle wheel. I was thinking about half that for the wheel?

Yes, rim+tire

What happened to the “shut your fucking mouth” rule in the Classifieds pertaining to critiquing people’s asking price? Or the condition of their for sale parts? Or making comments like ‘you’ll be waiting a long time to get THAT price’.

TheLogo you needed to leave it alone after the ‘if it was $650 and local I’d be interested’ part. We get it, it’s $150 over what you think it should be and it’s not local. So you’re out. But as usual you feel the need to add a couple of comments to ensure that everybody knows that since you’re not interested at $800, the price can’t possibly be marketable. Mission accomplished, buddy!

RolinkHaus stick to your price of $800. When I do the rough math I figure about $120 per tire mounted/balanced. That’s $480. The rest of the equation is $320 for a set of mint Mahles...or $80/wheel for you non-math types.

Somebody will grab those at that price.

Who is the admin here? Is it still #ericshea
