Wanted to buy - one single 914 seat. Black Only.
Need not be stock - modified or aftermarket is OK.
Must be in very good useable condition.
With sliders attached is preferred.
Pick up is possible - if you are not on the east coast.

Hi - I have a shell you can have for free - you would need to restore it but you can get all the stuff from 914rubber. I am in LA - come and get it! Charlie

Mike, Thanks for the reply. I did see your ad before I placed mine. Yours would seem to be everything I am looking for, however . . . I don't have many stock parts left on Elvira and would really rather have something different. Also, I would love to have an excuse for a road trip to claim my new prize. (Certainly a bad financial decision if I spend twice as much on hotels and gas.)
Let me wait and see what happens with this ad. I will definitely keep yours in mind.

I have one Shell that needs restoration for $50 and one ready to go for $250, both include brackets. I can send more detailed pictures once I get home.

That is very tempting.


Thinking about it forced me into a good decision. I dropped off my spare at the upholstery shop this morning. $250 including a new sub strap slot in the seat cushion. It should be done next week. Look for a photo in the 'what did you do today' thread. Thanks everyone for your support. I guess what Judy Garland said is right.
