914World.com _ FS/WTB: 914 Parts _ Found them - Engine Air Guide Floor

Posted by: North Coast Jim Aug 25 2019, 10:43 AM

Hard to find items as it seems these are the first to go exposed to the elements and heat as they are.

Looking for both a Pass and Drivers side Air Guide Floor Tins for a 2L side shifter 1974 vintage car. Exhaust have heat exchangers if that makes any difference. These are the tins encasing the cylinders and on the driver side the thermostat. Need to be in relatively good shape with all attachment holes in place. I've got a few that are missing some attachments holes and have seem better days.

PM me if you can help. Thanks All

AA had the drivers side new in reproduction. Awaiting the pass side now being tooled.
Thanks everyone.

Are you referring to the under-cylinder tins as shown in the pic?

I believe I still have a spare pair that have been blasted and painted.

Not those pieces but the ones underneath them. The drivers side tin shields the thermostat from below. The tins you show I have and are above next to the cylinders and heads. I have those. Thanks for the reply

If you can't find good used, AA sells them new.

Do a search in the classifieds ... somebody posted some a while back - they had both early & late ones

I'm pretty sure I have the drivers side down in my basement. Will check tonight.
