914World.com _ FS/WTB: 914 Parts _ New 914 Fuel Injectors From Germany

Posted by: Steve H Aug 29 2019, 01:48 PM

I just got this ad from Mittelmotor in Germany regarding a new source of FI for the 914. Since Bosch hasn't made any new FI's since 2007, I know there is interest in this product. I obviously have nothing to do with the seller but thought I would send it along to the 914 World.com

Question - for @http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showuser=104

We're rebuilding the old 1.7L motor for my '71 as a 1.9L and planning to install the factory 1.7L D-jet injection system.

Will I need to change the injector connectors on a 1.7L harness to use 2.0L injectors? (I don't have my harness or any injectors handy to check).

the 1.7L and 2.0L D-Jet connectors are all the same.

Thise are American made by Standard Motor Products and sell for about $80 each in the U.D.
Part number is FJ67.
Heard one report that the original harness connector does not fit well. Terminals are reported to be wider.
