I have two rebuilt 914 starters that a local shop rebuilt. These are a quality rebuild with better solonoids. The Bosch solonoids are known to be problematic. Aftermarket commercial rebuilds can be a nightmare.
No core required. Good for stock or engines with mild compression ratio increase.
