Completely disassembled 2.2T engine.
Was running when parked.
No visible damage on anything so should make a nice core to build a nice little hotrod engine.
No idea on price.
$5k/obo???
No pics yet.
This stuff is all boxed up in my basement.
But it looks like a 2.2T engine in pieces.
70 or 71 2.2T sporto engine.
Also have manifolds and zeniths.
Air cleaner, alt/fan, shroud, engine wire harness, dizzy, etc...
Give me the engine serial # please. And if you can, get the casting part #'s from both sides under the oil return tubes; 101.xR and 102.xR the x's are the important part with the 1&2. So you are saying the case has been split?
Heads:
Cam boxes on top, zeniths on bottom:
Pistons/cylinders:
2.2T has non counterweight crank. Some people prefer that for racing.
That is true.
The non counter weighted crank does spin up faster.
However, my original plans for this engine was a 2.4 crank/rods and an E cam.
2.2T pistons have a higher dome than 2.4 pistons so you get a higher compression 2.4E engine.
That's what I put in most of my early cars.
VERY fun engine.
Plus carb heads flow more air than a MFI head.
No longer available.
