Nope, 1.7 and 2.0 are different. Thermotime switches are the same for both through 1974.

WIth the decel valvues being adjustable, how do they differ across years (besides part number)? is the mounting bracket in a different location? I couldn't find anything on Anders' site.

Mounting is the same for all 914 deceleration valves. I am pretty sure the number difference is probably to denote the pressure preset at the factory.
