Used 1.8L(pretty sure from what i found with the part number) Core Heads $125 +ship

Look like 1.7 heads from the gap between the valves.

look like 2L .look at the spark plug location. also the adjuster screws look like the larger 10MM and not the 8MM as on the 1.7

Can you please clarify what size heads these are and maybe post a couple more pics. Are there any other issues with the heads, such as broken pieces, studs, etc? Might be interested. Thanks

Those are definitely not 2.0 heads. 2.0 heads have three intake studs, and these have four. These are either 1.7 or 1.8 heads.

I agree, so now to determine which variety. Do a little cleaning and see what the casting part # actually is. Example location here:

That can be tricky. Sandblasting or glass bead can embed itself into surfaces. Internal surfaces might allow the grit to get into the oil or other undesirable places. Soda blasting would be preferred. However wire brushing or polishing of the surfaces after blasting should remove most embedded grit.
