914World.com _ FS/WTB: 914 Parts _ WTB: Early Left Trailing Arm

Posted by: euro911 May 17 2021, 12:51 PM

Just to be on the safe side, I think I should grab a left trailing arm for HOWARD before subjecting him to a session on a Celette Bench.

I plan to have both trailing arms powder-coated for the final assembly so it needs to be straight and in fairly decent condition - not badly rusted.

Whatcha got laying around? ... Local to So. Cal preferable.

Thanks popcorn[1].gif

Hey Mark,

I have what I sure are "late" trailing arms. No idea what the difference is but I can send you a pic if interested.

I will check on my stash of trailing arms. They will be stripped without pivot shaft or hubs.

The only difference is the tab for the brake line. Early ones have a round hole and late have an open Key hole shape in the tab. They are swapable if you change the flezx line.
