914World.com _ FS/WTB: 914 Parts _ FOUND Heater Blower Motor '73 2.0

Posted by: DC_neun_vierzehn Aug 22 2021, 08:34 PM

Looking to replace my heater blower motor on my '73 2.0. I've heard it making funny noises when I turn it on from time to time when testing the climate controls since buying the car a few months back. I removed the hose coming off of the blower in the engine bay (with. the blower on) and the air force is weak and the blower is noisy. I suspect a replacement/repair is in order.

Looks like AA has used/tested blowers for $195. Ebay has several used/tested blowers for about that and much lower.

Pelican has several parts for rebuilding mine:

Any other options from our community?

Awesome. In that case, please hold off on sending the gas cap for now then (just in case you can help me out with a blower and we can ship them together). Let me know.

Did not get to testing motors today.
