It is a design concept. And it's pretty cool.

You might be right on that. My guess is since its the 5th 914-6 ever produced maybe the owner states it as Prototype but then I see Porsche Test Mule also written.

I would not mind taking it for a spin !

I recall reading about this car in Excellence Was Expected. Interesting to see it come up for sale 30-40 years later ...
