Had a set of these on my car but wanted to be "original" so I took them off, sold them, and installed OE. OE are useless for anything but daytime running lamps. I even had led's installed. I would rather see, these are like lasers compared to stock. Ordered, thanks for offering them again.
Posted by: 914werke Dec 1 2022, 09:37 PM
Thanks I agree, for a driver these are the ticket ~
Even for my LE I installed a set & put my VERY nice restored OE units in a box

I bought a set like this years ago and they were Pilot brand. What manufacturer do you use for your kits?
Posted by: vitamin914 Dec 6 2022, 06:41 AM
@http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showuser=453
I just sent you a PM about shipping a set, not for free, to Canada.
Posted by: brant Dec 6 2022, 10:59 AM
Rich,
did you have the brackets made?
and do you have a spare pare of mounting brackets you would sell separately?
I have a pair of home made brakets
but haven't mounted them yet, and fear they will not be exactly straight...
would be interested in finding brackets like yours that look much better made.

I love mine and actually have a backup set on the shelf. I got the self-healing foglight protection film from 914Rubber for a little extra protection. You'll need to trim them down from stock diameter but you'll never even notice it's on there.

@http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showuser=16669 , Oscar, are you still running these? I tried them and one failed after the first use. Seller did give me a refund, but now I'm looking for a yellow LED option that is decent quaility and low profile enough to fit into these buckets.
Thanks for any advice!
And, free bump for Rich

Couple of questions:
Are the custom bracket plated to prevent rust?
Are lenses available separately in the event of a rock chip?
Thank you, looking forward to getting a set.

Brackets are laser cut steel & are delivered raw at this time.
Simple process to treat & paint prior to install if corrosion is a concern.
Powder coating or stainless may be an option in future
Lenses are bonded to housing to prevent water intrusion, but as an option
clear 3m vinyl lens protection is available to help prevent rock damage.
