Want to buy a electric speedometer that will work with the magnetic speed sensor on a Boxster S 6 speed transaxle.

IIRC Boxster S/Cayman S transmissions do not have a speedometer drive. The speedo is driven by the Body control module and it gets a reference speed from the ABS/Traction control wheel sensors.
I know the G86-21 transmission (2006 Cayman S) I have in my 914 has no speedo drive/sensor at all.
Here is a link to my GPS driven 911 speedometer thread: http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=230296
And here is a link to the Autometer GPS module: https://autoplicity.com/2764255-auto-meter-5289-gps-speedometer-interface-modules
Hope that helps.

Mine has a magnetic sensor. Whatever else besides that, I don't know, but it works. Just want to get a more stock looking speedometer is all.

That is an aftermarket sensor, not a factory one.
You can use the 911 Electronic speedometer with it.

What about a new Speedhut, that uses GPS? THe size/fonts are very close to classic Porsche.

Or, a GPS driver for a cable speedo:
