914World.com _ FS/WTB: 914 Parts _ Nice used Bursch muffler with new stainless muffler installed

Posted by: 914ltd Aug 16 2022, 09:44 AM

1973-1974 2.0 This Bursch had a baffle loose so I had a new stainless steel muffler installed.
Good condition, lots of good miles left. I have used this configuration before. The stainless replacement has a bit more rumble than the original Bursch.
$250. Plus ship
Thanks for looking, Brad

What year, model does this fit? I'm sure it doesn't fit 75-76...

Will not fit 1975-76 unless the exhaust was backdated. (more horsepower)

I can tell you that a new Bursch is FAR north of that #. biggrin.gif
To their credit their collectors are now made of stainless steel. smile.gif No more paint burning off in the first two days.
The only negative I have is that the Muffler section is still just an aluminized steel unit
from Thrush I think. confused24.gif
