Are those the ones that reduce the value of any 914 they're installed on?

Hilarious……
I suspect that is an answer…
So what is on later cars

Priceless, although I sold this set in 2017 for $45.00.

Appear to be Different than yours so trying determine if there is difference

I liked the baby turbo's better, but stock mirrors look the best on a stock looking car, GT or narrow body.

Agree with the comments. Mine came with some and they look like dog sh&t. That's why they're pitched in the attic somewhere. Went back to the clean look of the original.

Terry, these are the mirrors that I had on my car for most of it's lifetime. Personally think they look fine on a 914. Based on comments, sounds like you'll have better luck selling in a different community. These were popular on many cars back in the day.

Yea, it’s not an insult to the OP. It’s just funny how things come in and out of favor on these cars. In the 80’s, I removed the early side mirrors, threw them away and put on black plastic mirrors. Whatever the flag looking mirrors were at the time.
Tossed the early rear valance for a later one.
Aftermarket steering wheel.
The list goes on…
Lol.

I sold a set a back around 2019 for $40 or so.
They were the cat’s pajamas back in mid 80s!
@http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showuser=25740 Might need a spare or two to go with his mullet (
- reference to another thread currently going on)
But seriously they look perfect on his Chalon and he might appreciate spares

Those are tornado mirrors. I have a set in the attic.
They can be yours for the cost of shipping.

I would love to have them Clay. Let me know where to send some money.
I knocked a deer unconscious with my passenger side mirror a month ago. Very upsetting. you can see in the photo the car is mirror lopsided.
Mullet. Come on now. Nobody with a mullet would be seen dead in a 914. They were all occupied with cutlasses and monte carlos.

and by the way, you can get empi baby tornadoes knock offs for cheap at jbug. Not that you would want to.

Are those power mirrors? Looks like wires coming out the bottom in one of the pictures.
Edit: nevermind- that’s a zip tie.

My wife says you need to be able to laugh at yourself……I failed the test but thinking of posting a leisure suit figured it could get much worse
