914World.com _ FS/WTB: 914 Parts _ 2.7 engine for sale

Posted by: mepstein Dec 15 2022, 02:23 PM

This 2.7 was rebuilt almost 30 years ago, run for 1,500 miles and then tucked away in dry storage by a Porsche shop owner in Huston TX. We purchased all his air cooled stock about 2 years ago. I don’t have history on the rebuild but we checked the head studs and did a leak down. The head studs are solid and the numbers are very good on the leak down. $8,495 email - Mark@MarkEpstein.net to purchase

Thanks Oscar. I’ll get one ready for you. I know where you live - LOL.
I do like selling these engines to 914 guys with the hope of seeing more of our cars on the road.

This one is pending - to a 914 owner. smile.gif

Darn I didn’t see this. Can I be considered if the person in first position bows out ?

Thanks
