I have two 1.7 914 engines for sale. One is locked up, so only good for parts, and the second one turns freely and was in a car I purchased. I have not done a compression check on the freely turning motor but it might be good, but would still tear it down to inspect it. Engines are long blocks only, without intakes and exhaust. Make me an offer, I am in Maryland. I can post pictures after the holidays.
Locked up engine - $150 (Case looks good externally)
Freely turning engine - $750
