You should clarify what displacement. These look like 2.0 to me
4 stud intake though
Ah see that now! 1.8?
All I know is that they came with a basket case 912E engine which is 2.0. They are marked "AMC", and the cylinder socket is 104.98 mm id. A 2.0 cylinder fits snugley into the socket. I have a set of 4 stud runners and air box that I can sell separately.
same ones
From the shape of the combustion chambers, I would say those are 1.8 liter heads. On 1.7 liter heads, the chamber wall bulges/curves outward slightly around the spark plug, while on the 1.8 liter heads it is absolutely straight, just like the heads being sold. Valve sizes for intakes are 39mm for 1.7L; 41mm for 1.8L; and 42mm for 2L. On the exhaust side, valve sizes are 33mm for 1.7L; 34mm for 1.8L; and 36mm for 2L. Those are stock valve sizes per the Haynes Manual.
my. $.02 .. Look like 1.8 because of the head configuration. can't be sure from the pictures but the spark plug location appears to be the 2.0 , which would line up to the 912E tin . If so they could be Len Hoffman heads . He made a set for me back when he was still doing T4 heads. They were 1.8 ( small CC in head for high compression) with welded up spark plug bores and repositioned to the 2.0 location and with a smaller bore to allow more meat between the plug and exhaust seat. The problem here is that he used 2.0 seats and valves. If Len did them then HAM should be stamped in them.
These are VW Bus 2.0l heads judging from the combustion chamber shape.
