I tried to purchase a pair.
Order showed "complete" and was cancelled for no reason on the 2nd.
I left negative feedback.
Seller contacted me today with a thank you note for the poor feedback and then a second note stating he was going to ban me from purchasing from his E-Bay store...
This angered me!
So, I go and check his store, and this critter has listed the lenses again but this time for $195.
I reported the item to E-Bay as "price gouging" and deceptive seller.
This was a "buy it now" price set by the seller.
It looks like someone else tried and failed in the same way.
If sfphoto burned you on a pair, I'd suggest you report him as well.

Well for the kicks of it, I went to the new ebay auction and made an offer of $139.99 Just to see what would happen . I was turned down. Will take big money to get them .Hes probly hopeing some Mr. Rich will come along give him 195 . TOO much for me . Paul

He thinks he's the victim here.
He got into a pissing match with me over the E-bay message system and then sent a link to update MY feedback!

Didn't search at all.
Just like you with the back lens they were cheap enough for me to pull the trigger.
I've got an OLD Hella set anyways that should clean up OK.
Maybe what happened was a good thing...

Hella is NOT making any 914 lenses anymore. Anything you find is leftover NOS.
