I am looking for an aftermarket shift knob either with the 914 pattern, or some sort of clear cover where I can place a 914 pattern under it.

This will sit upon a RennShift. I would have used the teardrop style that was offered with the RennShift kit, but it did not come in black.

Black leather and/or carbon fiber is a plus.

Any ideas?

You could take a Rennshifter knob, have it engraved with the 901 shift pattern, then get it black anodized. Maybe fill in the engraving with white paint afterward to make it more visible.

This one is black leather in great condition and has the correct shift pattern.
