914World.com _ 914World Garage _ replacing the air cleaner

Posted by: Greg44 Oct 10 2009, 10:29 PM

Whats the best way to go in replacing the oil bath air cleaner. Does K&N make something? I would just like to clean up the engine and taking that mess out would be nice.

That mess works pretty darned good and is very cheap to maintain.

Just a little oil change occasionally and no expensive elements to replace......

Works way better at filtering than a K&N barf.gif

Did I mention quieter too?????????

I have a stock 1.7L air filter that uses the paper filter. It can be yours for the cost of shipping.

Of course the appropriate filter element is NLA, and the availably replacements are way too small. The Cap'n
