I just want to make sure that I have the right engine. I need an alternator and didnt know if its the same one for the 1.8 and the 2.0.

The alternators are all the same. Be sure you get a genuine Bosch remanufactured unit (it'll come in a colorful Bosch box) and pay attention to the length of the B+ post, which has been known to be too long. Shorten it as necessary to clear the rear cover. You may also need the rubber air boot from the shroud to the alternator cover.

Rubber boot? Do you have any pictures of this? Just want to make sure I know where this is going. = )

I called BAP here in Tucson. They sell the alternators for $109.00. Anyone see them cheaper?
