914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Olympia Blau a rare Olympic commemorative color?
Posted by: Barry Brisco Oct 24 2009, 04:13 PM
There's a 914 seller on craigslist who says "The color Olympia Blau is a rare Olympic commemorative color, the same as the Olympic Rings Symbol".
I had never heard that before. Checked my reference materials but don't find anything about Porsche 914 Olympic blue being a color with that history.
Any truth to this sellers statement?
Thanks,
Barry

Thanks T.C., that's what I thought.
Hi Mike, yes, it's me. I'm a big 914 fan. Don't tell the 356 guys. ;-)
I have a 914 vintage race car. I want a street 914. Of course, I want a lot of things. That doesn't mean my wife agrees with me.
Best regards,
Barry
