Today I jacked my car up and put one hand on the top the other on the bottom of the tire/wheel. I whigged the tire/wheel back and fore. My question is - is there suppose to be any play?

Nope. Sounds like bad bearings.

Or nut is not properly torqued.

Or the suspension console is broken off.
